Swooping Down The Hillside

Embedded securely into the downward slope of its site, this project artfully disperses its visual weight by sculpting roof planes, fostering multi-tiered green roofs that mirror the descending terrain.

Vision

Maximizing space without sacrificing square footage, the ground-up residence embraces expansive open balconies oriented towards the captivating vistas of the San Francisco Bay Area. Soft, undulating curves and pristine white-washed exterior walls were designed to create a striking interplay of contrast and cohesion with the neighboring residences.  The modest single story street presence offers a visually quiet entry without any indication of the custom crafted 6,000 square foot floor plan.
